For Love of the game The WCGC has established an association built of golfers who have a united bond of love for the game of golf. Our club's primary objective is to promote a fraternity to conserve the best interests and true spirit of the game of golf. With that in mind, we founded the finest club in Southern California. You'll find that we're not "just another golf club" because with West Coast Golf Club you're "not just another golfer". Although most of our tournaments are handicap stroke formats, some of our events are based on various PGA formats. Have you ever wanted to play in an "International" using the Modified Stableford Scoring System? What about prizes? Are you tired of playing for trophies and other little trinkets that you don't want? West Coast Golf Club has devised a unique prize pay system featuring what we call "The Player's Fund". Each of our tournament's prize packages average approximately $1,200 in cash or WCGC scrip and with our unique Player's Fund you can save those scrip dollars and turn them into great prizes. The best part of our prize system? YOU pick your prize! Of course you always have the option of taking the cash! Of course, tournaments are not our only game! Our members can enjoy great tee times available each month without participating in the tournaments. No matter what you choose, a tournament or a simple round of golf, while playing with the WCGC you can meet new friends, network, or even entertain clients. Our member's guests are always welcome at all of our events. Joining the WCGC is easy. Although any golfer may join, you must have an established SCGA, NCGA, SCPLGA or USGA index in order to qualify for any tournament wins or prizes. If you don't have an established index, no problem, just provide the WCGC with a minimum of seven (7) recent scorecards which are authorized by the WCGC and we will establish an index for you.  Tournaments are our game West Coast Golf Club offers an exciting 16 event schedule for the 2012 Tour. A few of the courses we have scheduled for 2011 include: Sierrra Lakes, Oak Creek, Arroyo Trabuco, Sycuan Resort, Central California Golf Trail, and many more. We also have two three day travel events we call The Traditions. In year's past we have traveled to Whistler, Canada, SunRiver Resort, Pebble Beach, Whitefish, Montana, Phoenix, Tuscon, and many more. West Coast Golf Club tournaments are played on a 2 flight handicap system so you will always compete against players of your same ability. And with each tournament prize package averaging approximately $1,200, the top three to four players in each flight always receive substantial cash or scrip prizes. In fact the WCGC has one of the highest payout percentages anywhere! A minimum of 30% of the field will ALWAYS walk away with a prize and this number can go as high as 35% depending on the number of players and flights. This is almost unheard of in any other golf club.
Once the Tour is complete at the end of each year, all of our event champions compete in our Player's Championship for the title of WCGC Club Champion and the opportunity to represent West Coast Golf Club at the SCGA Affiliate Club Championship in December. Membership Beneifts

categories: Points, Earnings, Gross Average, Net Average, Pars,
and Birdies. Come out on top of the Points category and you will
become the WCGC Player of the Year earning you $150 and a trophy.
