Steve Moore rises to the top at Glen Ivy

Glen Ivy - Only a few other players at WCGC have taken as much abuse as Steve Moore has over the last couple of months. The Commissioner Rudy Arciniega has been all over this senior citizen's lack of game. Well, the abuse is over for a little while as Steve has finally made it back to the winners circle.

At the Golf Club at Glen Ivy the real Steve Moore showed up as he fired off an in-your-face-Mr.-Commissioner 89. That score coupled with a handicap of 22 put Steve at a tidy 5-under 67 as he made quick work of the field. His victory had been a long time coming and will temporarily silence Rudy. Three shots back of the champion was Ricky-Jerry Hill-Fowler in his Florida OJ orange shirt and Jim "lite one up" Klein. Both of these guys came in with scores of 2-under 70. Sadly for Lite One Up the tournament was in the bag until he got to the final hole where a quintuple bogey 9 did him in. Ricky-Jerry lost his chance at winning as soon as he put that shirt on.
